3. If i can use SATA HDD, can you give me link what kind of adaptor converter i need for SATA?

Hi

when you are now using a 80GB HDD with 2,5", the greatest available HDD is 320GB.
But these are very expensiv, and rare.
Do you really need a big HDD?
With a great HDD and much files the Hifidelio will be come very slow at the start.

Hifidelio's with a 3,5" HDD has no limits.
In this case you also can use SATA HDD's with a converter.
This mainboards have separte voltage regulation for 12V and 5V.

For me doesn't matter capacity of HDD /60gb, 80gb...320gb/, i always listen from usb. I'll see 3.5 HDD. Do you know which converter buy for 3.5 sata?

Hi
the hifidelio cames with 2 different mainboards.
1. One with a 2,5" ATA HDD connector. in the beginning it has limitations. 80GB HDD, no webradio and som more. After a time the users could buy an upgrade, and new ones have the same level than the Pro.

2. The second one has a connector for a 3,5" HDD and the software was all the time on the highest level. This mainboard has a separate voltage regulation for the large HDD. If you want use a 3,5" HDD or SATA the converter needs this powersupply.

So you can only use the small ones without major modifications.
So you can decide between 80 and 320Gb.

I hope all questions are resolved.
